Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress. Her most well-known character is Skyler White in her role on the AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 in the category of Outstanding supporting actress in a Drama Series. She played Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting while attending Preparatory School. At the end of the 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. She studied theatre in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was working by the theater in the Chicago area for several years before trying her hand at TV as well as films. Anna was cast as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode series Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest on several TV shows and Films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue during the 90's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character she played for two years in Deadwood's second season. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional career. Gunn has also appeared on the stage for David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also appeared in a series of audio-play podcast titled Numbered Days. The story of Breaking Bad is determined by the love story that exists between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The decline of their relationship is in line with Walter White's last days.
